The Duncan Trophy is Cadder’s breeding ground for new and developing curlers.
Cadder has always been concerned to ensure that people who have never tried curling should be able to start straight away into a team environment. The Duncan League is a system that allows new players to play alongside developing players and experienced players who act as mentors, whilst allowing the new players to develop. This season the Duncan League was played in December and January using the Invershiel teams playing in a different order. The winner of the Duncan League 2023/24 was Team Dagen, skipped by Howard Purdie
This year's format allowed for Invershiel leads to play in a higher position with the skips dropping to leads.
